According to America's Blood Centers®, "4.5 million Americans will need a blood transfusion each year." By donating one pint of blood, an individual can help save up to three lives.
For more than 50 years, the Community Blood Center has been committed to serving hospital patients with a full range of blood components—red blood cells, platelets and plasma. Each day, hospital patients receive lifesaving blood transfusions, collected from volunteer donors. The center currently serves 18 Wisconsin and Michigan hospitals.
